Cookies & Trading
What are cookies?
Section titled “What are cookies?”Cookies are the premium currency on the server. Unlike regular cash, cookies never reset on rebirth. They are used for permanent upgrades that make your factory stronger forever.
How to earn cookies

Trading with players
Section titled “Trading with players”You can trade cookies with other players using the trading system:

When to trade
Section titled “When to trade”- You have extra cookies and want cash from another player
- You need cookies and have items or cash to offer
- You want to speed up your progression by buying cookies from endgame players
Permanent upgrades
Section titled “Permanent upgrades”The main use of cookies is buying permanent upgrades — boosts that stick forever, even through rebirths.
Upgrade categories

How upgrades work
Section titled “How upgrades work”- Each upgrade has a cookie cost and an effect (income multiplier, production boost, etc.)
- Effects are permanent — they survive rebirths and apply automatically
- Some upgrades stack or build on each other
- The Factory Upgrades reference page shows every upgrade sorted by cost and grouped by category
Spending strategy
Section titled “Spending strategy”Early game (0–3 rebirths)
Section titled “Early game (0–3 rebirths)”- Buy the cheapest factory upgrades first — even small income boosts help with rebirth recovery
- Complete every mission and achievement you can reach
- Don’t hoard cookies — upgrades compound, so earlier is better
Mid game (3+ rebirths, working on expansions)
Section titled “Mid game (3+ rebirths, working on expansions)”- Focus on factory upgrades that boost your weakest lanes
- Start saving for Moon-related upgrades if you’re getting close to unlocking Moon
- Keep doing daily rewards and missions
Late game (Moon and Mars)
Section titled “Late game (Moon and Mars)”- Moon upgrades become the priority
- Mars upgrades are the most expensive but give the biggest boosts
- Global upgraders are very valuable since they boost everything at once
