Moon & Mars

After you’ve built up your main factory (all 3 floors + expansion floors), the next big step is going to Moon and then Mars. These are entirely separate worlds where you build new factories from scratch with their own lanes, droppers, and economy.

Moon is the first space world. It works just like your main factory — lanes, droppers, conveyors — but everything is more expensive and earns more. It’s effectively your “second factory.”

Complete the Moon unlock mission in the main missions chain. You’ll need to progress through the earlier mission pages first.

StepWhat to doDetails
1Set up oxygenMoon requires oxygen infrastructure before anything else works. This is the first thing you spend money on.
2Open your first lanesStart earning on Moon. These are your primary income source here.
3Fill the front factoryThe main set of lanes that fund your Moon operations. Focus here first.
4Unlock the backyardCraft a Moon Backyard Key (1× Slime Ball + 1× Slow Falling Potion). Opens extra lanes behind the main factory.
5Open Floor 2Craft a Moon Floor 2 Key (T15 Gem + Nether Star + Moon Dust + Blaze Rod). Doubles your Moon production.
6Defeat the Moon BossDrops a Radioactive Heart (via Zombie Head). Used for advanced recipes.
CommandWhat it does
/giy or /wearPut on your space helmet — required on Moon
/chestOpen your virtual chest (useful for storing Moon items)
  • If Moon feels slow at the start, go back and strengthen your main factory first — more main factory income = more funds for Moon
  • The backyard lanes only matter after the front side is running smoothly
  • Moon achievements give cookies specifically for Moon upgrades
  • Place gems on Moon lanes too — they work the same way as the main factory
  • Check Moon-specific upgrades on the Factory Upgrades reference page

Mars is the hardest and most expensive world in the game. Same lane structure as Moon, but everything costs and earns significantly more. This is true endgame content.

  1. Your Moon needs to be fully running (front factory + backyard + Floor 2)
  2. Craft the Mars Rocket: 4× Glass + 1× Ghast Tear + 1× Coal Block (check /howtocraft)
  3. Complete the Mars unlock mission in the mission chain

Mars follows the same flow as Moon:

  • Open lanes → buy droppers → scale up → unlock more areas
  • But the economy hits much harder — you need a significantly bigger bank to even start
  • Do not skip to Mars. If Moon isn’t comfortable yet, Mars will eat your money with nothing to show for it
  • Mars rewards players who have already figured out Moon efficiently
  • Mars has its own achievements for cookie rewards
  • Mars-specific upgrades are the most expensive but most powerful in the game
  • Think of it as the final endgame grind: same mechanics, much bigger numbers
